Why South Florida Photo

Better than another YouTube playlist

Most people who buy a good camera never get past auto mode — not because it’s hard, but because they never get feedback. In a private lesson, a master photographer shoots beside you, fixes the small things in real time, and gives you a simple recipe you’ll actually remember. Learn live — online or outdoors in South Florida.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Are these private one-on-one lessons or group classes?

All lessons are private. Most students book one-on-one training, but you are welcome to bring a friend, spouse, child, or parent. The session is still private and customized around your camera, your goals, and what you want to learn.

Do you teach in person in South Florida, or online too?

Both, and they're equally hands-on. In person we meet outdoors in Pompano Beach. Online lessons are live and screen-shared — real teaching, not a pre-recorded video course — so you can learn from anywhere in the country.

I'm a total beginner. Is that okay?

Absolutely. Many students arrive having never left auto mode. Lessons start exactly where you are and move at your pace, with simple step-by-step recipes you'll actually remember.

What does a lesson cost?

Single 2-hour classes start at $125. Real estate photography training is $195. Multi-hour packages are $225 (4-hour Silver) and $399 (8-hour Gold). Gift certificates run $25–$500.

What should I bring, and which camera do I need?

Bring whatever you own — any make or model, including your phone. Kevin has trained on nearly every camera, lens and lighting system made, and tailors each lesson to your gear. Need a buying recommendation? That's part of the help.

How do I schedule?

Call 954.357.0553 extension 1 or send a message. Classes run seven days a week — mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends — around your schedule.
